Core reflection – Inspirace pro reflexi pedagogické praxe

Workshop on Korthagen’s notion of core reflection
The aim of the workshop is to develop insights and skills for promoting deep reflection in (student) teachers, that is reflection that builds on student teachers’ personal strengths and opens up possibilities for transformative professional development, both in the participants themselves and in the students and colleagues they work with. The workshop participants will learn how these insights can be used in core reflection, that is reflection that builds on personal qualities and opens up the possibility to act and learn in flow, and how to deal with obstacles that inhibit flow and deep learning.

Developing philosophical skills in the teaching of philosophy
On the conceptual level there are (at least) two fundamental approaches to the teaching of philosophy, based on two assumptions or answers to a question whether pupils or students are capable of philosophi¬sing. If the answer is yes, it is useful to distinguish between the content and the process of philosophising and to focus temporarily to the process and methodology. The aim of this experiential presentation is to demonstrate this methodology and relate it to the theory.
